Ongoing service and long-term prepayment are separate options. A missed payment cannot become a release instruction. Hardware remains usable unless its owner explicitly chose a payment-linked restriction.
If Paranoid closes.
The goal is for independent providers to keep your switch running and your dead drop available. We’re building and testing that backup before offering it to customers.
Know what your payment covers.
Before you buy, you’ll be able to review the service duration, storage, maintenance, independent backups and any limits. Pricing and terms are not yet set.
Check the backup plan.
You should be able to see who can take over, how they will be paid and what keeps working without us. A promise of “forever” is not enough.
